This new regular service sails 4 times a day between Luss and Balmaha, opening up the broad, island studded and breathtakingly scenic southern section of the loch as well as providing a new way of visiting the beautiful island nature reserve of Inchcaillach.

Conic Hill** Starting from the National Park’s visitor centre car park in Balmaha, this popular short hill walk utilises a section of the West Highland Way path. The attractive scenic contrasts in this area are down to the 450 million year old Highland Boundary Fault which underlies Conic Hill. So when you get to the top you will be standing on one of Scotland’s foremost geological features. The view’s pretty good too!

The Ben Sunrise
This cruise departs daily at 1000hrs allowing you to enjoy the serenity of the bonnie banks while sailing in the shadow of Ben Lomond.
The West Highland Way Rambler**
Combine a cruise with a 7.5 mile walk along the West Highland Way. Following a 1000hrs departure and short cruise, disembark at Rowardennan for walk north to Inversnaid.
Enjoy stunning views across to the Arrochar Alps and keep a look out for feral goats, deer, otter and birdlife . At Inversnaid, view the Arklet Waterfalls and enjoy a refreshment in the Hotel, prior to the return cruise to Tarbet.
Ben Lomond Climb*** Take the 4Bs Bikebus to Tarbet and pick up the ferry to the hamlet of Rowardennan where you can climb the path to the summit of Ben Lomond – at 3,194 feet, Scotland's most southerly Munro. Enjoy the spectacular views from the “Beacon Mountain” which towers over the eastern shore of Loch Lomond. This is a strenuous hike, and should be undertaken only with appropriate hillwalking equipment. You will have plenty of time to enjoy your walk and have a refreshing drink in the local hotel before your return boat and bus trip.
Inversnaid Explorer*
A vessel departs from Tarbet Pier at 1130hrs and 1330hrs to the peaceful haven of Inversnaid on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond. You have the opportunity to disembark and spend two hours ashore.
Choose one of numerous short walks in the area, and walk along the West Highland Way to visit Rob Roy MacGregor’s cave, where legend has it that Rob sought refuge from the Redcoats. Alternatively a trail takes you up through the trees to the RSPB bird sanctuary.
Rob Roy Discovery (no time ashore)
The Discovery cruise departs daily at 1500hrs for a majestic two hour leisurely cruise in the heart of Rob Roy MacGregor country. Hear about the history of the feuding clans and Scotland’s most celebrated outlaw ~ Rob Roy MacGregor.
Sample all the sights and the natural beauty of the northern end of the Loch while you savour a complimentary Rob Roy Whisky coffee ~ a dram of whisky in your coffee and let your imagination drift to bygone years.
